Velosolutions Benelux is mainly known for building PumpTracks, but did you know that we also build mountain bike routes? In the middle of the Betuwe on the Mariënwaerdt Estate, we started construction work on a mountain bike route in the autumn of 2023.

MTB Mariënwaerdt Estate
Landgoed Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt is a family estate of over 900 hectares on the edge of the Betuwe village of Beesd. A versatile estate with fields, meadows, forests, avenues and willows. The estate has been in the hands of the same family since 1734. The ninth generation of the Van Verschuer family now manages the estate. You can experience all kinds of things on the estate, such as getting married, staying overnight, holding meetings and there is a bakery and estate shop with home-made products.
And from May 2024 you can also go mountain biking there. In total we realized 20km of mountain bike route on the estate, consisting of 2 loops. We have incorporated curves and jumps and we respond to the natural flow of the environment and trees. We have of course extended the PumpTrack feeling to this route! The mountain bike route is constructed with concrete granulate, which ensures that you can ride on the clay in Gelderland all year round. Naturally, the flora and fauna that live in the area have been taken into account.
The mountain bike route was realized in collaboration with Landgoed Mariënwaerdt and the municipality of West-Betuwe. A vignette is required to drive the route. More information can be found on the website Marienwaërdt estate & MTB Trails.
