In 2018, Velosolutions Benelux realized an asphalt pump track with a length of 150 meters on behalf of Camping Ponderosa. This pump track is accessible to both camping guests and the public from outside (register in advance at the reception). You can also rent BMX bicycles and scooters at the campsite for use on the pump track.
Asphalt pump tracks are unique in that they are suitable for almost anything on wheels, such as skateboard, BMX bike, mountain bike, in-line skate and scooter. Because asphalt is used, this type of pump track requires much less maintenance than a traditional pump track or bicycle cross track. The special asphalt mixture has been developed into the ideal top layer in recent years and is processed by hand by our own experts. Moreover, pumptracks are also very safe for the user and comply with the European Standards.
