PumpTrack in Belgium: the first Belgian Velosolutions asphalt PumpTrack is a fact. In the spring of 2019, commissioned by Sports Flanders Genk a pump track with a length of 240 meters has been realized at the sports centre. Sport Vlaanderen has had the wish for a pump track for some time and the contact with Velosolutions started in 2018.

Velosolutions won the tender, partly due to the excellent references of the many completed PumpTracks worldwide. The design of the track in Genk offers space for riders of all levels and all ages. During the summer of 2019, the PumpTrack was immediately used extensively by students who visit Sport Vlaanderen for various camps and outings. The PumpTrack is spacious with long straights all around, interspersed with a technical middle section. This pump track is also suitable for official World Cup PumpTrack qualifications and national championships.

You can hardly imagine a more beautiful location for a sports center: Sport Vlaanderen Genk is located at one of the gateways to the Hoge Kempen National Park, the green lung of the province of Limburg. With two indoor slopes and an outdoor slope, the sports center on the wooded domain of Kattevennen is primarily an equestrian center. It not only focuses on advanced riders, beginners are also welcome.
