2023 Recap

This year, Velosolutions Benelux was once again able to install many beautiful PumpTracks, 10 in total! There were several highlights, including the installation of our 50th PumpTrack at the beginning of this year. This PumpTrack has a unique location, under the Waalbrug in Nijmegen, right next to our partner Waalhalla and we have placed skate features in our PumpTrack for the first time. These skate features give an extra dimension to the PumpTrack. A small party was in order!

While the PumpTrack was constructed in the city of Nijmegen, we also built a PumpTrack on an old landfill in 's-Gravenzande and in the middle of the woods near Oud-Heverlee. A beautiful place where new trees were placed at a different location to compensate.

We also see that more and more municipalities are finding us more often, for example the PumpTrack at Waalhalla was number 3 in the municipality of Nijmegen, but we also installed our second PumpTrack in the municipality of Tilburg, with the help of skate features we have made this especially for people with an affinity made interesting for skating. We are also spreading the Velosolutions spot more and more to the north, where we have installed PumpTracks in Nieuwe Niedorp and Heerenveen. In addition, we were pleased that 2 residents' initiatives came to fruition after great efforts, namely in the municipality of Zwartewaterland, Hasselt (NL) and in the municipality of Terneuzen in Axel.

Last but not least, we are very happy with our collaboration partners; Waalhalla organizes the coolest clinics and openings, in Den Bosch a PumpTrack once again became part of one Skill Garden and in 2023 we intensified our collaboration with YALP.

A fantastic year, we are looking forward to what 2024 will bring us.
