Lappset and Velosolutions Benelux join forces to offer an unforgettable play and sports experience. This collaboration challenges and invites children and adults to move freely in an outdoor environment that helps develop physical skills, creativity and social interaction. This creates a connection between Lappset's play and sports equipment and Velosolutions Benelux's asphalt Pumptracks, creating inspiring and challenging play and sports areas where everyone can enjoy themselves in their own way.
Lappset wants to challenge everyone to play, move, do sports and meet. It is in Lappset's DNA to do things just a little differently and to respond to the changing needs of our time. Velosolutions offers a challenging and innovative play and sports facility called the 'PumpTrack'. PumpTracks are attractive for all ages and can be ridden with mountain bikes, BMX bikes, (stunt) scooters, skates, skateboards and wheelchairs. Each PumpTrack design is unique and is always made with input, wishes and needs from the target group and client. There is an option to place 'PumpTrack features' such as a Wallride; a feature can increase the challenge for advanced riders by riding high through a Wallride, but does not exclude the 2-year-old balance bike rider, who can ride through the underlying bend. The PumpTrack serves a wide target group; from young to old, and from beginner to experienced. Everyone is welcome!

Lappset's play and sports equipment is a great addition to a total concept. Lappset offers a wide range of play and sports equipment. The demand for furnishings for an Urban (play, exercise, sports) environment is increasing. By joining forces, we are able to design and realize total concepts. Lappset's range includes options for calisthenics, boot camp, parkour and outdoor fitness. Lappset is also unique in its interactive equipment. For example, you can use the Phono, an interactive DJ table, create a real party on the PumpTrack! The Fono gives users the opportunity to develop their musical creativity and share it with others. The perfect addition to an urban scene.
Holiday park De Meerpaal
Holiday park De Meerpaal in Zoutelande is one of the projects where we successfully collaborated on the realization of a Outdoor play and sports zone. Holiday park De Meerpaal has been a regular customer of Lappset for many years. The holiday park wanted to respond to the fact that guests are increasingly looking for challenging sports opportunities during their holiday. In collaboration with the customer, Lappset developed an outdoor play and sports zone consisting of a multifunctional sports field, with space for boot camp and outdoor fitness, which was supplemented with a Velosolutions PumpTrack. This PumpTrack has a compact design at the customer's request, In combination with the other sports options, the Funzone is attractive and accessible for young and old. The fact that the holiday park is close to the sea made us decide to extend this to the greenery with flowering plants and different types of grass. It immediately gives you a holiday feeling!

Designing spaces for playing, exercising, moving and meeting. We are often not fully aware of the contribution these spaces make to our overall well-being. At Lappset we are certainly aware of this, just as we are aware of the contribution and influence we have on this as a “designer” of these spaces. An important aspect here is the “output” that the space must provide. Not only in terms of play value, but also in terms of atmosphere and completeness of the offering. From this perspective, the unique collaboration with Velosolutions is a logical choice. With the PumpTracks and Velofeatures we can give an even better interpretation to the designs that require or lend themselves to this (sometimes you also have to stimulate a customer with new ideas).
When entering into collaborations, I always find it important how the companies match each other in terms of working methods and intrinsic motivation. Do they look at the same thing and there are many similarities between Lappset and Velosolutions. The employees at Velosolutions all have a background in cycling and skating, so they know what they are talking about. This leads to unique designs that are precisely tailored to the wishes of the customer. The fact that the construction is then also carried out by people who are also active in PumpTrack and other forms of cycling ensures a perfectly delivered PumpTrack or cycling course that can be used with great pleasure.
