Holiday parks increasingly offer their visitors a total experience. Sports and exercise naturally play a prominent role in this, and a holiday park is the ideal location to come into contact with a PumpTrack for the first time. Children often take their bikes with them on holiday, which they can use well on the PumpTrack. In addition, the holiday parks often have a distribution point where sports equipment for the PumpTrack can be borrowed/rented. For this blog, we made an overview of the PumpTracks that have already been constructed by Velosolutions at holiday parks in the Netherlands. And we spoke to Lennard Kempers from Holiday Park Eiland van Maurik. At this location, we built a PumpTrack with a specific kids' section. Due to its popularity, this was expanded with a bowl 2 years later.
The PumpTrack on Eiland van Maurik
Holiday park Eiland van Maurik is a real family business located on the water in the Gelderse river area. Lennard first came into contact with PumpTracks at Recreation park TerSpegelt in Eersel. His enthusiasm was aroused because the PumpTrack is suitable for all ages, the activities fit perfectly with their own target group and also brings sportsmanship to the holiday park. Another nice advantage is that a PumpTrack, apart from enthusiastic voices, does not produce any noise.
Due to the good weather and the great cooperation, the track was ready well before the camping season. And this was the salvation of the pre-season, the indoor activities such as the swimming pool and the indoor playground were closed at the time due to corona, but the PumpTrack made up for a lot. There are many positive reactions. Lennard himself also tried a round.
Great fun, but he prefers to leave the driving to the specialists. For him, these 'specialists' are the visitors of the park, the track is not publicly accessible, a helmet is mandatory and protectors are recommended. By making the PumpTrack only accessible to visitors, you create a safe sports environment where young and old can get acquainted with a PumpTrack.
In the meantime, 2 years have passed and the visitors of the PumpTrack cannot be kept away from the PumpTrack. This was the reason that the PumpTrack was expanded in 2023 with a bowl in which tricks can be done.

Camping de Pekelinge, Oostkapelle
This PumpTrack was installed in 2017 at the Pekelinge campsite near the coast. Camping de Pekelinge
is a sporty campsite. The PumpTrack is publicly accessible on Wednesdays.
Camping Ponderosa, Ulicoten
This PumpTrack of 150 meters long is located at the Ponderosa campsite in Ulicoten (North Brabant).
The PumpTrack is accessible to both camping guests and the public from outside (register in advance at reception). You can also rent BMX bikes and scooters for use on the PumpTrack.
Camping TerSpegelt, Eersel
Built in 2016, this was the largest PumpTrack in the Benelux for a long time. In addition to the asphalt PumpTrack, there is also a gravel track, this gravel track is particularly fun for children on cross bikes!
The Spring of Drenthe, Gasselte

Landal Puur Exloo, Exloo
Landal Puur Exloo is a holiday park with a luxurious appearance in the middle of the Drenthe Hondsrug area. The PumpTrack has a length of 190 meters and was completed in the summer of 2020. Every effort was made in the design to create a design with a luxurious appearance that blends in with the natural environment.
Holiday park Eiland van Maurik, Maurik
With a length of 195 meters, this PumpTrack is a nice addition to the many activities that the holiday park already offers. The specific kids section in the PumpTrack makes the design attractive, interesting and accessible for (very) young and old.
Camping de Kleine Wolf
The PumpTrack at Camping de Kleine Wolf has a Kidstrack of 43 meters and a full-fledged PumpTrack of 181 meters. The PumpTrack contributes to the goal of the camping to win the title 'Campsite of the year'. The old plastic PumpTrack was so busy that it was time for the bigger work. Holiday Park Two Bridges
The PumpTrack at Holiday Park de Twee Bruggen is the first PumpTrack of 2022, and this PumpTrack has it all! A challenging PumpTrack including the second jumpline in the Netherlands has been installed at the holiday park, but there is also entertainment for the little ones in the form of a special kids track. Success guaranteed.
Leukermeer holiday park
Holiday park Leukermeer in Well has had a new activity since 2022! The PumpTrack is deeply buried so that it blends optimally into the environment. A challenging PumpTrack where there is also a PumpTrack for the little ones. In addition to the PumpTrack, there are also padel courts, a swimming pool and a marina at the park.
Holiday park de Meerpaal
This PumpTrack is an addition to the many facilities that the park already offers for children. A small kids track where children can get acquainted with the basics of PumpTrack riding. Together with Lappset we have created a complete play and sports facility here.
Capfun Rakelbos
Rakelbos is the next Capfun campsite that we can delight with a PumpTrack. In addition to a swimming pool, a sandy beach and a green environment, you can now also pump to your heart's content.
Ouddorp
A public PumpTrack consisting of a kidstrack, PumpTrack and bowl constructed by contributions from the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee, Landal Resort Ouddorp Duin, Ridderstee, Holiday park De Klepperstee, Project developer Otium, Village council Ouddorp, Natural High, Restaurant Bij Marc, SPAR, RentTourBuy and the Houten Kaap. This way everyone can use the recreational facilities of this PumpTrack!
